Hi all,

Here are some photos of our trip to the Auckland Botanic Gardens.  We are learning about plants and healthy eating this term.

We had a great time!

We celebrated Race Relations Day in March. Look at Room 6 students all dressed up proudly in their country's traditional dress! Don't they look adorable!!!

On the 6 March we were fortunate to have Counties Manukau Sport coaches visit us. They helped  our tamariki develop different skills. Students enjoyed all activities and were enthusiastic participants!

Kia Ora, Namaste, Sat Srikal, Malo, Bula Vinaka, Talofa!

Welcome to Room 6's blog! I do apologise for posting late in this term. Nevertheless let's look at some activities that have been going on in our class.

We started with 13 students in February and have now reached 20 students. One new student is having transition visits every Wednesday till next term. We have 2 more students joining us on 9/4/18. This will bring our roll up to 22! Its wonderful to see the enthusiasm that students in Room 6 display towards school and their learning! It is indeed heartwarming and a privilege  to teach my awesome students!!!
We also have a student teacher, Miss Lui, who comes every Tuesday. She enjoys working with the students and has an opportunity to teach them in small group situations.

Miss Lui taught us about the significance of Chinese New Year and she helped us with crafts as well. It was enlightening experience for all of us!
